This website was first published from a MacBook in my bedroom in the year MMXIV.
It's made of HTML, CSS, JS, and a little TLC.
It was built in a variety of text editors, most recently VS Code.
A repository of my mistakes code is available on Github.
I test on macOS, Windows 10, Nintendo Switch— really anything with internet access.
The first iteration of this website was designed in Photoshop. Lately, Firefox and a notepad does the job. The “CJH” logomark was conceived in pen and paper and its current SVG path was exported from Figma. The color palette was devised in browser with help from Colorable. Color contrast ratios are measured with Stark.
The majority of this website's typography is rendered in IBM Plex Mono. Headers are set in a typeface I designed in Affinity and exported using Birdfont. Its structure is modeled after a mechanical alphabet published in Lettering: A Guide for Teachers by John Cataldo. Download the typeface and try it yourself (it's only caps sorry lol).
This website does not feature any AI generated images or text. Many of the Javascript functions used on this website were produced by leveraging large language models.
This website is vitually weightless, producing less than 0.01g of CO2 per visit. As far as I'm aware, this website does not collect any data or analytics.
Endless thanks to my partner, Nilya, my family, friends, and cats, Andy, and Percy. And thanks to you for reading.
It's good to be here.
